How To Get Traffic To Your Squidoo Lens Or Hubpages

Social Marketing

If you are looking to get traffic to your Squidoo lenses or Hubpages then there are lots of things you can do to really give them a lift.  Some really simple steps can start to get the traffic flowing through your lens or Hubpage quite quickly so today I want to just recap on a few of those methods and also show you two great new ideas for getting traffic quickly.

Those of you who have been readers here for a while will probably already read some of these tactics but have just left them on a pile of ‘to do’ lists – change that today and pick one to get your lens a kick start.  I’ve always said that my personal experience with Squidoo (especially) is that if you send traffic to the lens straight away, Google seems to sit up and take notice of you faster than if you just sit and wait.  Here are some previous posts that are packed with great information that should help you get started.

Getting Traffic To Your Squidoo Lens – A checklist of things you can do to get traffic to your lens.  There are 10 great tips to get you started in this post and all of them I use myself to get traffic flowing quickly.

Give And Take For Squidoo Traffic – This post shows you how you can build relationships to get things moving on your lens.  This method is very underrated but can be very powerful when used right.

Link Building Power – This post was originally done for blogs but you can use it just as effectively for a Squidoo lens or Hubpage too.  Not only will this lift your ranking with Google, it will result in extra traffic too.

This brings me onto the two new methods of traffic generation that I have been really impressed with lately.  Not many people who bring out traffic tips for Squidoo get my seal of approval – most of them are people trying to ride on the back of Squidoo and will just re-use old information and change it a little to suit Squidoo or Hubpages.  Social marketing is all about changing with the times and these two products really do what they say they will.  I am using them myself and when used right they are VERY effective at getting traffic for you.

$5 Traffic Trick For Squidoo & Hubpages – This is really a good read and you should implement this one now before lots of people get hold of it and abuse the power it can have.  At the moment I am aware of a few people who have taken the time to put this into practice and they have seen a real jump in traffic to their lenses.  This is not created by me and it’s not free but well worth the $5!

Squidoo Traffic Trick 2 – I was a little nervous about this one but this video tutorial is really good for anyone who needs traffic and has no list.  You simply create a Squidoo lens or Hubpage – do the trick and watch the traffic come in.  Well worth reading – again this is not my product and it does have a price tag of $9.97 but it’s worth it.

Lots of the readers of this blog have had access to this material for a long time.  It’s a sad fact of life that most people will NOT do anything with the information that they are given.  Change that today and see results.  If you continue to do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always got.  Read that again and let it sink in – take action and change your results.

Traffic is what makes you money with Squidoo and Hubpages.  Social Marketing is no different from traditional marketing methods – you need to have traffic.  Without it you can have the best pages in the world but no one will ever be able to see it.  Get your share of traffic today by following these simple steps.  You’ll be glad you did.

    Hello Kelly,
This part about internet marketing I understand, the objective is to make money. The part that I don’t quite get is when someone tells you that they want to help you, say like getting traffic, and they tell you they have some little secret that just drives traffic to your site like a magnet and then when you are all worked up about a way to get traffic, boom, they hit you with a price for that information. If you are going to charge someone for the information that you are pushing then you need to be honest about it up front and not wait till the end of a message. In my opinion you will make more sells that way than letting someone think that you actually want to help them and then tell them it will cost them. I know from my own experiences that when that happens to me it turns me off quicker than anything but when I know up front then if I am interested I sometime will buy it because I like it and would like to have it. I would like to see everyone start doing this. Price your information/product up front and then capture your customers interest. This way if the person is interested they will be more likely to purchase your product.

    Hi Wayne

Thanks for your message. I think you should read the post again though. I offer free information at first and then let you know about the products where I am VERY clear that they are paid products, I let you know in the post what the price is too.

All I did was recommend the products – I have used them and think that they are helpful to anyone who owns them. Sorry that you feel I was somehow underhanded in that. I can’t honestly see how I could have been any more open with the fact that they were paid products! I always give people the free information first where there is that option, as I did in this post.

Sorry that you feel this way.

    Kelly
