Kelly – You are right on it as usual!

You said that the video was bad and it was something that you would be working on, is this going to be part of your new year plans? More videos for us?

Great information there anyway and as always, I’ll be taking it onboard.

    Thanks Kelly

    Thanks for the message Jennifer.

I hope that you and your family have had a great Christmas and New Year and that 2009 is bigger and better than last year for you 🙂 You deserve it!

Jamma – Thanks for your kind words, I’ve been watching your site and it’s coming along nicely! Really great stuff to come from you this year 😉

I’d like to say that video is going to be a major part of my marketing this year but I have to admit that I really hate doing it – I posted this and then left the office so that I couldn’t be tempted to take it down!!! It’s something new for me and I guess it’s going to take some time and practise.

Jen – As always, it’s great to hear from you 🙂 Anytime you need a good kick just let me know!

I thought it was a dynamite video Kelly. Thanks and keep them coming

DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE NEWBIE REALLY NEEDS, FORGET THE KEYWORDS, FORGET THE DAMN BLOGS, FORGET THE LISTS,—-THEY ( ME ) NEED THE BASICS, ALL OF YOU SO CALLED EDUCATORS JUST ASSUME THAT THE BASICS ARE KNOWN, THEY’RE NOT. KELLY I WOULD VENTURE TO SAY THAT 90% OF THE PEOPLE THAT WANT TO START SOMETHING CAN’T GET PAST THE EMAILS, WHY DON’T YOU TEACH THEM HOW TO LINK FROM THEIR COMPUTER TO A WEBSITE, WITHOUT ALL THE TECHY CRAP, OR HOW TO GO FROM THE KEYBOARD TO THAT BLOG,—–DO I KNOW HOW?–NO. ONCE WE KNOW HOW TO DO THE BASICS THEY WOULD MORE THAN LIKELY BUY SOMETHING FROM YOU.I WOULD. YOUR FRIEND PHYLLIS MEINHART.

    Hello Kelly,

I have followed your emails for quite some time. Thank you.

I know exactly what you mean about leaving the room to resist the urge to take your video down…I used to feel like that.

    It gets easier…I promise…

Believe me you are much more critical on yourself than others will be.

You have done a great job.

    Deb

Thanks Diane – Really kind of you to take the time 🙂

Phyllis, I do agree that ‘newbies’ can be forgotten about sometimes. To be honest though, if we were to write down how you do things like html etc, it could be a whole book by itself. I’ll certainly think about this though when I create my next project. Just a side note, typing in capital letters is considered shouting on the internet 😉

Hi Deb, thanks for stopping by and your words of encouragement – I needed them! I DO plan on going forward with the videos and I do realise that they will probably never be perfect or how I want them. I actually spent a lot of time last night looking for providers (someone else to do them for me) but thought that it might take away from the ‘me’ part of it all, if that makes sense?

Thanks for the emails too – there were plenty this morning letting me know that you liked the video and wanted to see more of it.

    Kelly 🙂

I hope to fail a lot in 2009. The more I fail the more I succeed. I am swinging for the fences this year. Last year was one of my best and this year as a fulltime online marketer I hope to learn more and do more than ever.

Here’s to a great year to you also Kelly,

    Rick
