Everyone is talking about the economy and how it’s affecting everyone around the world. Even the big internet marketers are saying they have felt it in their wallets. There are some though that are continuing to grow despite of the economy, here’s my top 3 tips for earning more money online with them.
1. Stop Worrying About The Economic Downturn
This might sound like a strange thing to say but the truth is if we all walk around worrying about how we can survive the economy in these tough times, we’re not going to be looking for ways to grow. If you want to start earning more money online, work at finding ways to do this, not on problems that are worldwide.
By this I simply mean that you are going to spend a lot of your time worrying about something that is more or less out of your hands. In fact, the more time you spend worrying about the economy and making cut backs, you are helping to make the situation worse.
If you are feeling the pinch then you need to start working on a plan for getting more sales and making sure that you are offering a service that is second to none and beats your competitors every time.
2. Remember The 80/20 Rule
The rule might not have exact figures, but it’s not far out. It means that 20% of your marketing efforts will bring in 80% of the results. This means that you need to find out exactly what efforts you put in to get the results and then replicate them.
If you find that you are not getting any sales from your PPC marketing – Stop it straight away and concentrate on the marketing that does produce results. You can then test and trial your PPC marketing and make changes when you can.
Most importantly – work on what is bringing you in the most results.
3. Know Your Market Inside And Out
If you want to make more money online it’s vital that you make more sales (or cut the cost of making the sale) and in order to do this you need to understand your market inside and out. What makes people buy? Is the product a need or a want and what drives them to buy? How can you make your deal better than someone else? How can you really make the whole experience better for the customer if they buy from you rather than from someone else?
You need to ask yourself these questions and one’s just like this and know the answers. Just going around hoping to get sales wont cut it and you need to understand your buyers from the beginning to the end of the buying process.
