Thinking Of Buying Wealthy Affiliate?

Marketing Tips

Today must have been the biggest amount of emails that I have ever got regarding my membership at Wealthy Affiliate University.  I’m guessing that it’s to do with the push of new members that Squidoo Queen has just got where I mention my WA membership several times.  People want to know if I recommend WA for complete newbies.

If you had asked me a year ago I would have said something along the lines of “Only if you are looking to master Adwords.”  Now though, I have to say that if you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced marketer – Wealthy Affiliate memberships are priceless.  I know that there are a LOT of members of WA who read this blog, I’m hoping that they are going to chime in and give their thoughts on it here too.  WA is MUCH more than just ‘adwords’ these days.

Beginners to internet marketing can spend a long time walking around in the wilderness when it comes to direction, plans of action and implementing it.  WA can change all of that for you.  Let me tell you right now, when you sign up to WA you can become completely overwhelmed with what you find.  First you land at your dashboard that looks like this …..

The Wealthy Affiliate Forum can be a daunting place – there are thousands of posts in there that are worth reading – luckily the really good ones are made ‘stickies’ so that you can find them easily at the top of each category.  There is a lot of reading to be done there, but it’s well worth it.  Not only will you find people who are struggling, you get to see exactly how they turned it around with the help of the other marketers in there.  I can’t tell you how many times I have seen someone saying that they just can’t do it, only to be helped out by experienced marketers who show them ways to look at it.  Within a few days they are reporting that they are making sales and going great guns.

Not only do you have access to the forum, videos etc.  Wealthy Affiliate is now a complete resource for marketers with guides on ….

  • Squidoo (Shock horror)
  • Keyword techniques
  • Landing pages
  • Article Marketing
  • Forum Marketing
  • etc etc

The list just goes on and on.  There is nothing left to chance and now the members can offer up their very own tutorials.

Inside you will see that they have WA Jobs – a section where you can sell your services or hire others to do the work that you can’t.  I know one person there who makes a lot of money just by offering their services as an article writer, when I say a lot, it really is a lot.

Now I can go on and on about how great it is and how wonderful you will do when you join – but I wont.  You can just go and take a look for yourself – Join Wealthy Affiliate University – (that’s my affiliate link in case you hadn’t guessed!)  Plus, if you sign up through that link and then send me your receipt I’ll send you my BUMPER pack of PLR as a gift.  Other members pay $97 for the pack, you can get it for free!

I have been thinking about joining Wealthy Affiliates for a long time. I have always been hesitant to sign up for reoccurring monthly fees. Do you get access to all guides at one time with Wealthy Affiliates? Or, is it like other membership sites that dribble out content to you on a scheduled release basis?

    Dear Kelly,

You are probably going to shoot me for this, but, I canceled my membership to WA about four months ago. I joined up through a recommendation from my brother-in-law who was trying to combine Wealthy Affiliates with his own ideas. To be honest, things just got so confusing for me, I just quit.

So, what is your recommendation for a former member . . . My plan is to follow your Squidoo training completely to try to start making some extra money. Do you think re-joining Wealthy Affiliates has enough benefits that earning money would be easier, and if I used your link to do so, would you get the affiliate credit?

    @ Fred

No, there is nothing dribbled out to you – once you join you have access to everything that’s on offer to you. In fact, at Wealthy Affiliate you don’t have to buy anything else at all, you get the keyword tools, site builder, article writer and everything else they offer for free and when they update – you get all that too!

Although it’s only my personal opinion – there is no better membership site out there that offers anywhere near the tools and help that WA offers. Kyle and Carson (the two owners) are the icing on the cake – the one on one coaching that they offer is just a bonus. I have been a member of a LOT of membership sites and now I am only a member of three, WA and two PLR sites.

Hope that help and feel free to let me know if you need anything else.

    @ Dave

If you are struggling from information overload then I would concentrate on one thing at a time. Squidoo Queen will do this for you and keep you on track. However, I do not offer the tools that WA does, plus there is the forum there that lets you have access to hundred of other marketers who can help and advise you.

I guess it comes down to how much time and effort you want to put into your marketing. And yes, if you do sign up again, I would get the credit 🙂

Let me know if you need any further help from me.

    Hiya Kelly =)

I haven’t been a member of Wealthy Affiliate for that long (since late July) but I love it. Not that I am knocking free IM forums, but there is a different atmosphere in this private one.

Perhaps we’ll cross paths over there soon.

With anything the feeling of community and hanging with people that are doing what you are doing is great.

I think the most important thing is to get a plan and work it.
