A New Look & A New Internet Marketing Case Study!

February 26, 2008

Marketing Tips

I’m sure that some of you have been seeing the site in several stages of completion over the last few days – some of them better than others  😕   This is the final stage now and it’s just a case of getting the little hiccups sorted out and it’s all systems go.

What do you think of the new look?  Let me know, good or bad – I love the feedback.

I promised you last week an answer to the coaching question that I talked about a few weeks ago.  It’s now here and this is going to be BIG NEWS for you if you are starting out, still stuck or just struggling to make a consistent income online.

Social Marketing Profits Is Live!

BUT WAIT! …..

Before you go rushing off to see this site let me tell you about it.

This site has been born from the idea we spoke about – the coaching one that so many of you said you wanted to see.  It really didn’t make sense for me to start charging you the earth to come and hear me speaking about internet marketing and then go through just about every single aspect of it, so I went one better.

You can now watch LIVE as my case study goes from complete newbie to throwing in the 9-5 job within six months.  (I’m confident that it can happen a lot sooner, but he wants to take it slowly)  My husband and I had a little argument about working for someone else and you can read all about it on his about Andy Stone page.

As he dared to get upset with me he has now agreed to become my live case study – laying it all out for you guys to follow.  I want you to know straight off that I WONT be doing the work for him – I will be guiding and ‘coaching’ him.  He has to do the work himself and has to admit where it goes wrong, show people when it goes right and generally let you follow every step of the way!

I’m sure you will agree that this is much better than any coaching manual I could write for you.  You will be able to interact with him as the journey progresses, you can ask questions, leave comments or offer advice and support.

At the end of each week I will be posting my ‘report’ on how the case study is panning out and what needs to be done next.  I’ll be analysing what he does and letting you know how it could have gone better etc.  All for you guys to follow and copy  😀

He will do it all without spending a single penny – He will be using totally free marketing methods to generate any income he gets – This is something that I know you will want to see.

Oh, did I mention that it doesn’t cost a single penny?

You are really going to want to stay up to date with this one so make sure that you are subscribed to both my RSS feed and Andy’s – Happy learning.

I am very impressed with your new blog page. It’s easy on the eyes, great color combination, and not cluttered like so many you see. I really kike what I see and may have to “steal” your layout (just kidding). With the great info you give and this easy to read page, you are a “real winner”. Thanks for you being you.

    PLEASE EVALUATE MY COMMENTS.

Generally good but the text as shown above should be LARGER and more BLACK against the WHITE BACKGROUND. I like to SPEED READ – LOST TIME IS LOST MONEY!!

    Kelly,
What a great idea!! I look forward to watching this journey unfold. I like the new site design too. Very clean and sharp. Nice job.

I think this is great because like Andy I don’t understand how you are going to make an income with a bog but I guess in time we will find out. I am glad that I will have the opportunity to see how this is going to fit.

  9. Ryan Says:

You just keep getting better and better.

  10. Will Says:

    Hi,

A nice clean crisp blog format.

I’m sure other beginners will appreciate your ‘doing it for free’ concept. When I start making some money I’ll be able to afford to invest in ‘paid for solutions’ but until then it’s a freebie diet for me. So I’ll definitely be following along in the coming weeks.

  11. pixelpat.com Says:

Very nice, Kelly! Your site has a clean and appealing look.

  12. David Says:

    Kelly,

Nice job on this, well laid out with a good format. I’ve seen other blogs that are very jammed up so to speak but this one reads quite well. Nice work with your colors as well. Keep up the good work!

  13. Iqbal Ahmed Says:

Hello Kelly, You have hit upon a very novel idea of the” case study concept”.
Well this is really going to help all those who want to learn the tricks of blogging.
The step by step tuition to Andy will be very easy to understand for the newbies.

Pl keep up the good work.

  14. Richaloe Says:

easy on the eye and clear….how do you do that….much better then my blogs.Thank you.

    Hi Kelly;
This is the first time I make a comment on anybody’s blog In your case I think you deserve one.
First of all Andy is lucky to have a teacher like you I would bring you an apple every day and I would always have the last word in any argument (yes dear) .

Second, I really like the look of the page the only thing I would change is the font size maybe one or two points larger,I am squinting trying to read.

Third, I am looking forward to Andys labor of love I hope we all learn with him.

    Thank you for your efforts.

  16. Fabiola Says:

    Hi Kelly,

I agree with Bryan, about the size of your font. Should be a bit bigger. The smallest font should be the size you used in your Categories (blogging, bum marketing, etc)

I work with a computer all day and my eyes get tired. Small fonts don’t help.
(writing this comment with this size of font is a bit difficult for me).

About the design, I think its great. to the point and easy to find what you are looking for.

Hope I can make my first blog as clear as this one.

  17. Rickwisdom Says:

Good afternoon Kelly, the concept of case study to an improving and progressive report on blogging performance is perfect. I will be following it to learn more about this art of blogging to a road to success. Just as we have “Road to Wembley for soccer fans”, now we can share the path to youth development. Over to you Kelly, I ‘m monitoring the progress.

  18. Ramon Says:

    Kelly:

    This is grrreat!

I wish I had someone teaching me all the steps of the way.
Teachers and humans like you are a rare breed on this planet.

    God bless you.

    Ramon

  19. Dennis Says:

    Hi Kelly

This is such a great idea and the blog looks great……..I can really relate to Andy and can’t wait to follow his progress.

All the best to you and Andy:

  20. Minsheyenwen Says:

Hi Kelly, this is a great idea! What is happening with Andy and Social Marketing Profits? I see it started Feb. 26, 2008. Today is June 26, 2008. It is a live case study. There has been no blog posts or updates from Andy on his blog about his online blogging experience or progress report in 4 months.

Kelly, do you need a new case study volunteer or a case study volunteer group? You have loyal readers that would make a commitment and volunteer to fill Andy’s case study blogger position. Another life lesson that I have learned one monkey doesn’t stop a show!
