This is part five of the ‘Make Money With Amazon Affiliate Program’ that has been running for the last week or so. In this section it’s time to look at the site that you are going to put together. We have already looked at finding your niche products using Amazon itself to show you what sells already. You then (hopefully) got yourself a copy of the WordPress Video Series that teaches you how to quickly and easily set up a site for your niche.
It’s now time to get that site up and running. So if you have not yet found your domain name, registered it and installed WordPress – do it now.
Although I have said it in previous posts, it is important to understand that although your main aim is to create a site that is going to earn you money, your first thoughts should always be ‘is this going to help the reader’. You can have the best looking site in the world, but if it doesn’t help the reader, you are not going to convert those readers to buyers.
I also spoke about a product that I purchased that put me on the road and I have had five emails asking me to go into more detail about the product. It was called Info Product Killer and it has to be one of the best programs that I have ever used. It takes a slightly different route than I do but it is a very detailed and well put together product that shows you how to get a huge income using Amazon. It involves you creating mini sites and using a method that is almost completely overlooked in the US and still wide open in the UK. I’m not going to lay out the methods that are used as the guy put a lot of time and effort into creating it – I cannot recommend it enough though. To this day I still refer to it when I am building my sites.
At this point you should already know your keyword, domain name and have WordPress installed. You should also know the product that you want to promote. You should know who is looking to buy your product and what it is used for. Is it going to improve their life in someway – make cooking easier? Will it help a medical problem – offer relief from pain? Once you have all this info you are going to know how the buyer/reader is looking for the information.
You should look at your content as a way to communicate with the reader – not a sales page. It needs to be under the radar. You should still be looking at ways to grab the readers attention, a clear image of the product that they can see when they arrive (rather than it being down the page) is a priority. Don’t try and add too much information on each page either. Think about a strong call to action (getting the reader to click through to Amazon). The content should be well written and informative and contain your keywords – without this your site just won’t show in the search results.
This might sound like a lot of things to be thinking about but you need to have all this information in place. Watch for the next tutorial …..
Recommended Reading: If you have not been and looked at the IPK (Info Product Killer) site yet, I highly recommend that you do. It is a complete course that takes you by the hand and teaches you everything in detail. If you are serious about creating sites that make you money from Amazon there is no course on the market that gives you information like this.
